The Joie Roomie Glide
The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that lets parents co-sleep with their newborn whilst making sure that they're asleep safely. Its smooth gliding motion helps to soothe your baby into sleep and its innovative features allow you to monitor your baby without leaving your own bed.
The side panel that slides out of the cot can be lifted and lowered with a simple press of a button. This makes it easy to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It has 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet so that it's at the correct level.
The cot is cushioned and features mesh sides for better ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It's also wipeable so that you can keep it clean. Additionally, newborn bedside cot comes with a fitted sheet that's suitable for the cot.
Unlike some other bedside cribs unlike other cribs for bedside use, the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can be used as a standalone crib even when it's not attached to the bed. It has many amazing features designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.
It is important to remember that this crib won't last as long once your baby turns six months old. You'll need to purchase a larger cot. However, overall Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she was particularly impressed by its elegant design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a fair price for such a cot. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom, and believed that the grey shade would suit most modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can cause an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to provide an uninterrupted night's sleep. It has a drop side rail which can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your little one or get them out of bed - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.
It's made of soft material and has mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It comes in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna found it solid and secure when it was attached to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured for baby-safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support number available if you run into any issues.
The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would expect from a crib to your bedside, such as the ability to connect it to your bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also has six height settings. In over here , there is an inclines feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It can also be washed in the machine and is a must for all the dribbles, vomit, and snot that accompany a new baby!
If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're beginning to learn to sleep independently, the CoZee is a fantastic option as it can also be used as a stand-alone crib, changing table and toddler bed. It can be turned into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. It won't feed your baby or magically sleep them it will rock them until they go off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. It does have numerous amazing features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted by itself however, it's not recommended as this increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.
Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as the ability to rock to calm them after a feeding. It's also extremely spacious and offers great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with an extensive instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's fairly portable and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also able to fold into a travel bag which is a great option for those who want to transport it. The only issue our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, which made it slightly harder to see your baby from your own bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice if you want an infant crib that will grow with your child. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed, but can also convert into a stylish cot once your baby is ready, it's perfect for night-time feeds and for strengthening your bond with your baby.
Unlike some other models of bedside crib The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby comfortable and cool. A gentle incline can help to ease colic and reflux while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.
The kit for conversion to cot is also well-designed with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us around an hour to put together and was relatively easy to put together. The only downside was the lack of written captions on some of the pictures, which made it difficult to understand certain steps. However, overall it was an easy process and the quality of materials used was high.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had C-sections. It allows them to reach out and touch their baby for comfort and feeding without leaving their bed. It's also great for parents who wish to avoid the stress of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their child down to sleep.
During our tests, we found the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be especially beneficial in lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a major selling point for our tired test mums. Although it doesn't rock or have extra features such as a sound system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functionality make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
